Jenny T. Partridge is a fictional character, a dance teacher in Ogden, Utah, that I (Natalie M. Roberts) created based on my experiences working with a REAL dance teacher in Ogden, Utah. Most of the psycho dance moms know I'm writing a mystery series based on psycho dance moms, and more than a few are worried they are going to show UP in the book. I'm not telling.
Let's just say that more than a few things that happen are based on real people and real events. You'll just have to figure out which ones and who. And if you see a little bit of yourself in the extreme characters, maybe it's time to reexamine….

Hi Natalie, your blogs are wonderful! I have often thought of writing a diary on my experiences as a dance teacher and my dancing moms (or mums in my lingo). I threaten them with it often enough!
To be fair most of my dance mums are lovely people and very supportive, but yes there are the “psycho bunch” too. Not to mention the dads - some of them are worse!
One day I will get round to writing it all down, meantime all names will be withheld to protect the guilty.
